Capturing Memories at Our Annual Summer Photoshoot

On 9th May, the studio was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of special moments as we welcomed families back for our annual Summer Photoshoot with JB Moments Photography.

Open to all pupils and families, the afternoon brought together dancers, siblings, friends and parents for a relaxed and enjoyable experience in the studio. With around 24 families attending, there was a wonderful atmosphere throughout: calm, welcoming and full of excitement.

More Than Just Dance Photos

One of the loveliest things about our summer photoshoot is that it captures far more than dance poses and costumes. Alongside individual dance portraits, there were sibling photos, friendship shots, family pictures and plenty of moments in between.

From confident senior dancers to one very tiny three-week-old visitor, the afternoon celebrated the people and relationships that make our studio community so special.

Creating a Relaxed Experience

Jenny from JB Moments Photography has a wonderful way of immediately putting people at ease. Whether photographing experienced performers or children who felt a little nervous at first, she created an environment that felt relaxed, natural and enjoyable for everyone involved.

The studio became a space not just for photographs, but for making memories, families chatting, friends laughing together and dancers celebrating another year of growth and achievement.

Moments to Treasure

These annual photoshoots have become a really special part of the ABC calendar. They provide an opportunity to pause and capture a moment in time within what is often a very busy dance year.
