Rowan Selected for the Scottish Ballet Junior Associate Programme

We are delighted to share some lovely news about one of our younger ABC dancers, with 9-year-old Rowan successfully auditioning for the Scottish Ballet Junior Associate Programme.

Rowan, who is currently working towards her Grade 2 ballet, auditioned for the programme in May and was thrilled to be offered a place.

A Wonderful Opportunity

The Scottish Ballet Junior Associate Programme gives young dancers the opportunity to experience additional ballet training alongside their regular classes.

For Rowan, this means taking part in a monthly Sunday programme, giving her the chance to spend more time developing her ballet technique, learning from different teachers and experiencing training in a new environment.

Auditioning for a programme like this takes confidence, preparation and a willingness to put yourself forward, so we are particularly proud of Rowan for taking that step.

Continuing Her Dance Journey

At ABC, we love seeing our dancers discover where their dancing can take them. Every dancer's journey is different, and opportunities like this allow them to challenge themselves, experience something new and continue developing their love of dance.

We are incredibly proud of Rowan and can't wait to see how she grows through this next part of her ballet journey.
