Alba Offered a Place on the Morea Senior Associate Scheme

We have another lovely achievement to celebrate, with 14-year-old Alba being offered a place on the Morea Senior Associate Scheme following her recent workshop with us.

Alba, who is currently Grade 5 in ballet, attended the Morea Workshop with professional dancer and teacher Abigail Steele. She certainly wasn't expecting what happened next!

An Unexpected Opportunity

Following the workshop, Alba was approached by Eduardo from Morea and offered a place on their Senior Associate Scheme there and then.

It was a complete surprise for Alba and a wonderful recognition of the work she had put into the workshop.

Being offered a place on an associate programme is a fantastic opportunity for any young dancer, but we particularly love that this one came from simply taking part, working hard and throwing herself into something new.

Continuing to Develop

As a Morea Senior Associate, Alba will take part in monthly training, giving her the opportunity to continue developing her skills, work with different teachers and experience training beyond her regular weekly classes.

For us at ABC, opportunities like this are a really important part of a dancer's journey. It's not just about what happens in the weekly class, it's about giving dancers the confidence to try new experiences, challenge themselves and see where those experiences might lead.

Alba had no idea that the workshop would lead to this, which makes the surprise all the more special.

We are incredibly proud of her and can't wait to see where this opportunity takes her.
