RAD Exam Success Merit and Above for All Grade 3–5 Students
Following our Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examination session at the end of March, we are incredibly proud to share that all of our Grade 3, 4 and 5 ballet students achieved Merit or above in their examinations.
These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, commitment and consistency shown by our students throughout their preparation. Behind every exam is months of training, corrections, practice and perseverance and it was fantastic to see that dedication recognised within their results.
Commitment Behind the Achievement
For our senior students in particular, these examinations represent far more than learning set exercises. They require focus, resilience, musicality, technical understanding and the ability to perform with confidence under pressure.
Throughout the preparation process, students demonstrated maturity and determination, continually working to refine and improve their performance. Their willingness to listen, apply corrections and remain committed to their training each week has been a pleasure to witness.
More Than Just Results
While we are, of course, delighted with the outcomes, what makes these achievements particularly special is the journey behind them.
The calm professionalism shown during the exam session, the support students gave one another, and the pride they took in their work were just as important as the marks themselves.
There was also a lovely sense of celebration at the end of the session, with parents joining students for photographs and sharing in the excitement and pride of the day. Moments like these are a reminder that exam success is rarely achieved alone it reflects the encouragement, commitment and support surrounding each dancer throughout their journey.
Examinations provide valuable opportunities for students to build confidence, discipline and self-belief - skills that extend far beyond the studio.
A Proud Moment for ABC
We are extremely proud of every student who took part in the session and grateful to the families who continue to support their children throughout their dance journey.
To achieve Merit and above across all Grade 3–5 candidates is a fantastic accomplishment, and one that reflects the dedication and positive attitude consistently shown within the studio.
