Bring a Friend Week Sharing Our Love of Dance
Dance friends really do make the best friends.
From 7–12 September, our ABC dancers had the chance to bring a friend along to their usual class and share something they love, for ABC that is dancing!
Across all of our classes, the studio was filled with extra smiles, lots of giggling and plenty of excited introductions as our dancers welcomed their friends into their ABC classes.
Come and Dance With Me!
There was something really lovely about watching our dancers show their friends what they get up to each week.
For some, it was a best friend from school. For others, it was a friend who had never danced before. Whatever the connection, the excitement was the same “Come and dance with me!”
Our dancers got to share their favourite classes with someone special, while their friends got the chance to experience what an ABC class is all about, right alongside them.
And, of course, we couldn't let our guests leave empty-handed!
Both our ABC dancers and their friends received a little gift bag and personalised bag tag to remember the week, along with plenty of photos capturing all those lovely moments together.
More Than Just Dancing
One of the things we love most about dance is the friendships that grow along the way.
Children come to ABC to learn ballet, modern, tap, musical theatre, acro, pom and so much more — but they also find people they laugh with, encourage each other and look forward to seeing each week.
Bring a Friend Week was a lovely reminder of that.
There was lots of giggling, lots of dancing and lots of proud little moments as our dancers shared their ABC experience with someone they care about.
Sharing the ABC Love
We were thrilled that some of our visitors enjoyed their experience so much that they went on to join ABC or add a new class to their dance journey.
But while that was a lovely outcome, it wasn't really what Bring a Friend Week was about.
It was about sharing.
Sharing a favourite class.
Sharing a love of dancing.
Sharing the fun of being part of ABC.
And, most importantly, sharing it with a friend.
Because dance friends really do make the best friends.
