Supporting Our Dancers. One Challenge at a Time

At Alloa Ballet Company, our events bring families together, build community spirit, and help support opportunities for our dancers.

Throughout the year, we run fundraising events to support our biennial show and help keep participation as accessible as possible for families.

Every challenge, raffle, social event, and fundraiser plays a part.

WHY WE FUNDRAISE

We fundraise to support the scale and ambition of our biennial show, which takes place every two years and involves significant production costs including venue hire, costumes, staging, and technical support.

Our fundraising also helps us:

  • Keep participation costs manageable for families

  • Ensure every dancer has the opportunity to be involved

  • Create a high-quality, professional performance experience

This is something we achieve together as a community.

NEBIT HILL CHALLENGE

Our first fundraising event of the cycle is a community walk up the Nebit, organised

with support from the Rotary Club.

It’s a chance for dancers, families, friends, and supporters to come together,

take on a challenge, and raise vital funds for our biennial show.

Event details:

  • 📅 31 May, 10am

  • 📍 Nebit Hill, Alva

  • 👨‍👩‍👧 Open to everyone

  • Join the walk

  • Support via donation

Every step helps bring our next production to life.

HOW FUNDRAISING WORKS

Each fundraising event has its own dedicated page (such as JustGiving), making it easy to choose how you’d like to support.

You can:

  • Take part in specific events

  • Donate to individual campaigns

  • Support multiple events across the year

All fundraising contributes directly to our biennial show and dancer experience.

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT MAKES POSSIBLE

Fundraising helps us deliver:

  • Costume design and creation

  • Venue and production costs

  • Lighting, staging, and technical production

  • A high-quality performance experience for every dancer

  • Accessible participation costs for families

Every contribution directly supports the dancers and the production they are working towards.

UPCOMING EVENTS

We’ll be running a series of fundraising events throughout the year, including community activities, challenges, and social events.

More details will be shared soon as each event is launched. Keep checking back for updates.

GET INVOLVED

There are lots of ways to be part of it:

However you choose to support, you are part of making our biennial show possible.

This isn’t just a show - it’s something we build together, step by step, throughout the year.
