Every year, Alloa Ballet Company & Stirling Academy of Dance creates as many performance opportunities as possible.

The biennial production is held at the macRobert Arts Centre and every student is encouraged to participate and gain the experience of working in a professional theatre. The production usually has a first half showcase of the dance styles taught, whilst the second half is an original one act ballet choreographed by the Principal.

There are also regular opportunities at the end of term for parents to come and observe the classes and see the students’s progression.
Externally, the students are encouraged to participate in galas and charity events as often as possible. These are fantastic opportunities for students to extend and develop their dance and theatre skills.

Students have also performed in local amateur operatic shows, and are members of childrens’ theatre. It is important to allow the students to participate actively in as many theatrical forms as possible, this allows every student to develop their confidence and performance skills in the field of the arts. This can only enhance the students overall ability development. The only requisite is that the student informs the Principal of any other commitments at local dance / theatre schools.
